I found out about a new salon in Plantation through my girlfriend who just had new highlights and hair color. After seeing her hair and hearing what great service she had received at Moda Hair Design and Spa I decided it was time to make a change and try a new salon. My hair was really frizzy and I wanted something that would help keep my hair straight. My stylist went over my options with me and we decided to go with full highlights and a Brazilian Keratin treatment. I am so glad I came to this salon, My hair turned out remarkable, the highlights were perfect and now my hair is straight and frizz free. I would recommend this salon to everyone. The staff is courteous and professional and the salon is immaculate and modern. Do yourself a favor and try this salon.

I was given a gift certificate to Moda Hair Design and Spa by one of my girlfriends and Wow…This place is heaven. I walked in, was greeted then I was offered some wine. The staff was very courteous and helpful and the technicians are very skilled and professional. The ambiance in this place absolutely awesome. The white, decorated, well kept interior was flawless like they just had a grand opening. My spa package included an Ultimate Moda Facial, a hot stone massage and a ginger and white tea body wrap with Andrea. and it was the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience I have had in a very long time. I loved her professionalism and her soft touch. I have had many massages before, and Andrea was truly amazing. It truly brought me to a state of total relaxation and peace. I walked out of that place feeling refreshed, renewed, and magnificent. I bought 2 gift certificates to give as gifts. I have 2 very special girlfriends, and I hope that their afternoon of pampering was as enjoyable as mine was. I am recommending this place to my husbands friends, and I think next month we might go together!

The first thing I noticed about this place was how friendly and professional the staff was, both on the phone while making an appointment and once I got to the salon. They offered me water or tea while I waited. My wait wasn't very long (I was early for my appointment) and the stylist lead me back to get my hair washed. While the conditioner was working it's magic, they treated me to a neck massage and hand massage. I received a scalp massage as part of the wash as well. It's all part of their relaxation treatments that are part of a standard haircut service. Once back in the chair, the stylist noticed problems with my hair due to a recent illness and she told be about a kerastase treatment that would ensure proper hair health and she also instructed me on ways to nurse my hair back to health and gave suggestions on the cut to greater complement what I had initially requested. I left as a 100% convert to this place and I will be going there for as long as I live here in Plantation. It's that good.

On my way home from work I was driving on I-595 between University Dr. and Pine Island Rd. My previous hair color was looking pretty bad and I was looking for a new place to have the old color fixed. I saw a very modern beauty salon off the side of the highway and I decided to go in and see if they could fix my hair color. I met with Elizabeth and Sarah and they explained how my hair color needed to be changed and what steps they would take to protect my hair. I decided to stay and have the corrective color treatment performed by Elizabeth. Elizabeth cared far more about the condition of my hair then any other stylist I had ever met before. She even had me undergo a Kerastae Ritual called Pixelist in order to protect my hair after the corrective color treatment. That treatment left my hair so silky and shiny I cant wait to do it again on my next visit.
Needless to say the new color and highlights were fabulous. My husband was completely amazed at how great my new look was. My friends we equally as impressed so I set them up with Elizabeth at Moda Hair Design and Spa for their next appointment.
The staff in the salon are well trained and were so nice and enthusiastic about everything. Thank you so much Sarah and Luis.
I found out later that Elizabeth Buitrago is the owner and that she was the training director for Wella International for 10 years before comming here to the United States.
